>MURDER HIM!!! THE WELL-WISHER OF US ALL!

Atheists really can't reason.
>>
>>18440518
Wait, that's actually true. Why don't atheists ever explain why the Pharisees wanted Jesus dead? It's only ever attacking Christianity itself with them.
>>
>>18440525
working on saturdays, telling people to not respect jewish law, flipping tables at the temple, claiming to be the son of god
>>
>>18440554
The thing that put it over the edge was the resurrection of Lazarus.
But, their reasoning was, that the temple would end up becoming defunct for having to leave it and join Jesus' cult. For which case the Romans would take advantage of the vacuum left by the religious institution.
>>
>>18440560
What put it over the edge was Jesus stopping the animal killing in the temple.
>>
>>18440525
Because he was disrupting public order and teaching wrong things, duh. Why does anyone want a heretic dead? It's not because they're correct.
>>18440560
I don't think we can ever know their reasoning. Even assuming your interpretation is exegetical and not eisegetical, the gospels were written by Christians to serve their own ends and cannot be taken t face value. Unfortunately the Jews didn't care too much about Jesus for the first few centuries of our era so we don't have a source on their side. Only very late polemics from when Christianity stopped being just another cult in the grabbag of religions in the mediterranean and middle east.
>>
>>18440575
>and teaching wrong things
Top fucking kek! Atheists are shameless. So now you claim truth is a wrong teaching.
>>
>>18440566
I'm just going by what's in John.
>>18440575
Didn't the Romans have a reason to want Jesus dead?
>>
14 For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone 16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.[b]
>>
>>18440588
Yes, he was rousing the rabble plus the priests were mad. One of the first principles of colonial rule is that you don't antagnize the native elites too much.
But again we can't really know what actually happened.
>>
>>18440597
>But again we can't really know what actually happened.
If you'd apply the same standard to any other historical event of the same era, you'd have to come to the same conclusion.
>>
>>18440597
>we can't really know what actually happened by the means we have been using
fify
>>
>>18440601
Yeah I don't think we can discern the actual mental state of Nero or Caligula using Tacitus. I'm not saying you shouldn't use the gospels, but you shouldn't use them to gleam the Jewish priesthood's motivations. Especially while reading them uncritically.
>>
>>18440619
>mixing "what actually happened", "mental state" and "motivations" like these concepts are even similar
>dismissing the only contemporary source
>>
>>18440554
>oy vey he healed the sick on le day of saturn
Average j*wish mindset

>Didn't the Romans have a reason to want Jesus dead?
Not according to the Gospel
>>
>>18440653
>let him suffer in the cross

Average Atheist mindset

Why the wolf blow so hard if three little piggies didn't build brick houses?

>Why does anyone want a heretic dead?
normal societies don't do this shit
>>
>>18440525
Because they are jews. They want everyone dead.
Have you ever seen a jew that wasnt drunk with bloodlust?
>>
>>18440806
Normal societies didn't exist before 18th century, unfortunately. You could be executed in Europe for being wrong about the trinity well into the modern age.
>>
>>18440581
The Pharisees didnt believe it was truth. If they did they wouldnt have murdered Christ.
>>
>>18440656
That’s actually another jewish mindset
>>
>jews murder the Son of God preaching love and peace for the fun of it
>internet schizophrenic blames atheists
Satan still at work I see
>>
He disrupted their status
>>
>>18440811
What you have been calling Jews are actually Atheists claiming to be Jews. Don't let them fool you. They are easy to stop. Just pay attention to their words and deeds. They are not spiritual. Just look at their empty repetitive rituals. No spirituality in it.
>>
>>18441104
Jews believe in Moloch and worship him daily.
>>
>>18441195
You presented no evidence to back your claim.

Historically, worship associated with Moloch is attributed, mainly through biblical and some Greco-Roman sources, to certain groups in the ancient Levant, especially the Canaanites and possibly the Phoenicians, with accusations (still debated by scholars) that child sacrifice occurred in ritual contexts; however, there is no credible evidence of any organized religion today that literally worships Moloch, and in modern usage the name survives mostly as a metaphor, used by writers, critics, and spiritual traditions to describe systems or ideologies that demand extreme sacrifice of human well-being (for example, blind pursuit of power, profit, or war), rather than as an actual object of contemporary worship.

we can tell

>Actually it's the atheists who control the world!
Yeah we are very smart, rich and influential. Sadly you're IQ capped below the threshold required to be a high church atheist.

What argument

Jews are still trying to re-murder christ to this day. When they cant murder the innoncent Son of God they murder an innoncent son of man instead, its why child murder is a central tenant of jewish culture throughout time
>>

The Israeli government literally put those soldiers in military prison for that stunt

Those people werent atheists tho
>>
>>18440597
>Yes, he was rousing the rabble

This is a Jewish nonsense talking point that is never backed up by citation and makes no sense if you actually read the story with critical comparison to other messianic claimants throughout history, e.g. muhammad, sabbatai zevi, bar kokhba

Jesus Christ:
>healing miracles, feeding the poor, forgiving penitent sinners
>teaching the gathered crowds Christian values of charity, humility, self-sacrifice, etc.
AT ABSOLUTE WORST
>challenging the religious establishment's legalism and corruption
>claiming to be the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and opening a new chapter in the faith
He never challenged the political establishment's authority or started a riot, but rather said "render to Caesar what is Caesar's."

Meanwhile the high priesthood and Pharisees:
>one generation later started a violent revolt and bloody infighting that led to the horrific annihilation of Jerusalem and destruction of the temple
>>
>>18441851
Why are you taking a Hagiography at face value? Just it is our only detailed source on his life that doesn't mean we can't read it critically. The way you are doing it seems to inherently privilege Jesus over everyone else; if we are going to be making comparisons with Sabbatai Zevi we might as well take the Sabbatean accounts of his life seriously.
Also Muhammad never claimed to be the Messiah, he claimed to be a prophet, and in that regard he was rather succesful.
>claiming to be the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and opening a new chapter in the faith
This is by definition rabble rousing. Leading people astray is not allowed. The medieval catholic church (as an example) would execute you for less.
>>
>>18441349
Yeah, because they know it's bad optics. Every single Jew, Netanyahu included wishes they could have been the ones holding that hammer.
>>
atheists are like god they are simultaneously responsible for everything despite not being there
>>
>>18442007
I guarantee several jews kidnapped a christian child and smashed their skull in to celebrate the photo and then cried about the holocaust after

Nope. The Atheists were more like "don't make eye contact with that crazy fanatic who's overly interested in "the children".

The atheists were more like “bake the cake, bigot”

>"I am the Son of God, the Messiah, God himself"
>okay can you perform a miracle in front of Herod? He likes you and is a big fan (Luke 23:8)
>"uhh... no..." (Luke 23:9)
>alright that's what we would expect an outright fraud to say but we can have a trial to sort it out
>now that we've gathered witnesses before a court, it seems like everyone is speaking out against you (Matthew 26:60)
>for someone who claims to be going around healing people, there doesn't seem to be a single person to speak in your favor
>even your own followers decry or deny you (Luke 22:48, Luke 22:57)
>you could nullify that by demonstrating your powers before the court
>"you wouldn't believe me anyway..." (Luke 22:67)
I know this comes off as hostile but I am genuinely fascinated with the Christian inability to put themselves in the shoes of others. If someone claimed to be the returned Christ, but any time they were dragged in front of independent witnesses they were unwilling or unable to demonstrate any proof of their claims, you would file them in the same category you put Muhammad, Joseph Smith, Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones etc. If you were a priest back then, HOW would you KNOW that Jesus doesn't belong to that crowd if any time he's brought before YOU, you just see a normal man unable to back up his high claims?
>>
>>18442123
No evidence about that, but in deed the jews run around actually posioning wells and then cry over antisemitism right afterwards. See "Operation cast thy bread". Even Ben Gurion was involved here...
