Everyone's heard of Confucianism, Taoism, and Legalism, but what about the other schools of thought? What did the Mohists or Agriculturalists believe? How would China have developed if the Logicians came to power?
>>
They didnt exist. Surprise surprise everything the chinese came up with didnt exist and was fabricated during the communist revolution. Its why despite inventing paper, they had no paper records earlier then europeans. Its why they didnt have guns

From my memory Mohism went along with these tenets:
>Meritocracy
>Rejection of imperial divine mandate
>Rejection of ceremonies
>Right to revolt
>Proto-karma
>Rejection of consumerism
>Distaste towards hedonism
Yangism is another interesting school. It stressed on individualism. It was sort of like Stirner's egoism with these tenets:
>Anti-nationalism
>Supportive of NEETs
>Every man for himself
>Anti military
The school of naturalists got absorbed into Taoism as a whole and is kind of a dead end. It believed in nature and world itself being part of Yin and Yang, and it believed that human beings went through in harmony with the five elements. This was all a ruse to sell their services to harmonize them, of course.
The school of names was another dead end school that focused entirely on names and logic. It is genuinely boring and it analyzes words and delves into relativism.
The other schools include the school of diplomacy and the school of military, which both tend to analyze realpolitik. Pretty boring, but the school of military has Sun Tzu's influence.
The school of agriculture is very interesting and has had a lot of research into it as it's tenets were:
>Utopian socialism
>The ruler must be fit to plough
>Right to revolt
>Hatred towards government officials
>Syncretized egoism, every man having a field for himself
That's really it. The Hundred schools of thought period promoted creativity because scholars could always immigrate to another state, much like industrial Europe. They usually had theories put forward in order to counter existing theories, for example the Yang and agricultural schools are both up against Confucianism and Legalism.

East asians do tend to exaggerate.

>>18443703
They use large number symbolically to show all the schools are included.

IP theft is in chinese dna. They have been stealing from Europeans and claiming ideas as their own since time immemorial. Whether it is paper or printing, animal husbandry or metalworking, agriculture or weaponry or writing. Most if not all came from the west. Notice how they only appeared in China after already appearing in Europe. Shit like spears or parchment or chariots. All stolen from white men.

don't worry, chinkspammer will be here shortly to sperg out about rapes and human sacrifice

>>18443741
You may not like it chink, but we tell it as it is. The reason why nobody knows anything about your gorillion schools or thought is because it never existed.
>>
>>18443703
Most of the schools got shutdown by Qin gov as they wanted to promote only Legalism. Its the original book burning
>>
>>18443770
Ahh yes of course, how convenient. Let me guess, all of the documents and cities and bones were burnt during the cultural revolution?
>>
>>18443771
Surviving ones are those that survived. Once you kill the intellectuals, you can rewrite society.

all the chariots in the world can't help you against waves of barely-sentient biomass
>>
>>18446831
you had a technological advantage and you couldn't beat us, else you could've taken the food and prized fertile regions and supported a larger population, IE have the lowest incidence of the MAOA warrior gene
>>
>>18446834
they're just chariots, bro. imagine it was probably like a zombie movie, they tried running them down then just got swamped by hordes of dead-eyed changs
