If they didn't take Stalingrad, then the Soviets would've used it as a staging ground against German forces trying to take the Caucasus, which is exactly what happened. >What if he didn't declare war on US?The US would've just found some excuse to declare war anyways. They lacked the logistical capability to launch Sealion or any means of stopping the Royal Navy intercepting them.
