Damn so you're telling me ALL of Japan was inhabited by hairy abos before the yayoi yamato niggas went manifest destiny on they ass? How come there's none left?

The northern cities in Japan have yo suffix due to ainu heritage.

Assimilation over thousands of years. Hunter-gatherers support lower population densities so they got numerically swamped, and early Japan seems to have been integrative enough that the ones not killed in war could just learn Japanese and start growing rice.
There are still a few Ainu in Hokkaido tho

Japs themselves want to preserve the myth that they’re a homogenous society when this has never been the case.
This inconvenient truth also rustles the jimmies of chuds on this website, as I found out yesterday on /pol/.
>>
They basically pushed them north and didn't bother to conquer it until like 1700 because it's 99% ice.

ethnically cleansed. Much like how the han chinese cleansed southern china of the baiyue tribes and taking their women and daughters as concubines and wives and setting up permanent shop at the yangtze and pearl.

>How come there's none left
Literal genocide? That's how Japan went from ethnic Polynesian to Han, the natives were pushed North into Ainu

I was in that thread. It was the zoomers sad about leaving Japan meme right?
You got btfo.
Japan is one of the most homogenous first world countries on the planet.

Upon thinking deeper about it I’ve come to the conclusion that I was wrong and /pol/ was right, Japan IS one of the most homogenous countries in the world because all those groups I mentioned are the same race: Asian.
My confusion stems from me partially buying into the popular /pol/ narrative that Japan is becoming heterogenous because of the recent influx of Indian immigrants when following the previously established logic this is not the case.
My mistake was conflating nationality with race.
/pol/ is right that Japan is homogenous, it is wrong about it becoming heterogenous because of the presence of Indians.
Indians after all, are Asian too.

every single country in all of history has been diverse
even hitlers germany was full of saxons, bavarians and swabians
>>

>diversity is when you have ethnic variation
Look, bottom line, Diversity is good when its German locals meeting other German locals, or Japanese locals meeting other Japanese locals.
Diversity is bad when its jeets and nogs and jews running amok in your country.

You are looking for some kind of 'silver bullet' against racism, thats stupid, racism is instinctual, leftism has been getting violently raped because it is at odds with nature and every country that doesnt incorporate, essentially Nazi values regarding race, is in a sharp decline while the countries which do are on the ascent.

well, chinese chronicles sometimes call japan 'the fifty-five kingdoms of hairy people'. so yes, ainu or ainu-adjacent people did inhabit the archipelago before japanese. some amount of ohotsk culture is also probable.

>when this has never been the case.
It's been the case since like forever. Even in 2026 when there's more foreigners in Japan than ever they're like a few percent. Do you think "homogeneous" means "100.0% same ethnicity" or? If that's the case maybe only North Korea fits the bill for you.
