The *Dionysian vs Apollonian dichotomy was a thing that Nietzsche didn't develop. It was widely used in discussions of anthropology, history, etc... What Nietzsche did was develop and revitalize the concept, with drastically more insight than you're providing but along the same lines. He was a professor of classics and a professional academic philologist. He was much more intimate with primary sources than anyone on this board. His development can be (poorly) summarized as: to go towards one end, towards order, or towards chaos would bring the other about in an unconscious and unavoidable way. And that this was good in itself because it affirmed life. He had finer things to say about the Dionysian typically and thought stoicism and etc was gay. Most all who criticize Nietzsche are fat midwits or people who just don't read his work at all. You are in the latter camp here, anon. In fact I encourage you not to read him. It's not for you.
