The 2026 Spring Cup is running, and the /his/ divegrass team will play against /int/ in two matches from now so about an 60 to 90 minutes. There were no roster changes this time, but we pushed Tiktaalik up into a striker role. Also Gaius and Aulus got a visual overhaul.
You'll be able to watch it on https://isthisliv.com/4cc/stream.html

>I have no idea what you're talking about
Basically the 4cc is a virtual football (soccer) tournament where boards get to submit 23 meme players that "compete" in AI vs AI format against other boards. No actual esports, just some shitposting
Here's more info on the /his/ team - https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//his/
And the info on current cup - https://implyingrigged.info/wiki/2026_4chan_Spring_Babby_Cup

Can't believe this shit is still going.
Why do you never upload it to youtube?

Hey, is this some discord circlejerk thing or what? Because I have never seen anyone make a thread here to democratically decide what players (historical figures/memes) should represent us. Is this like some idea cooked up by a small clique of discord faggots thinking they represent broader 4chan culture?

Where is the secret link that every single poster can click to enter and have a voice in team choices? If you say "join our discord" then by all means it is not 4chan culture. 4chan is not about making friends and having popularity contests on discord and schizos gooning to erp with each other.

Not trying to be an asshole, just curious and hoping you can direct to some sources and evidence this is a true 4chan thing that was democratically chosen upon by ANONYMOUS posters.

There is a dedicated VOD website that should have all the matches, and the previous games should have a working link to the VODs over at https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//his/#Previous_Official_Matches
I know the previous guy running the /his/ team used to upload the games to a youtube channel back in the day, but there's a lot of shit that gets games taken down these days. Swastikas, nudity and especially anime music. Maybe I could try doing it again if people don't wanna use the other website, but no promises

Damn, yeah, forgot how cucked youtube was.
I always sort of hated this thing because the players are always the most forced unfunny memes imaginable.
It's especially bad on /his/ because 90% of the threads are dogshit and the few good threads aren't meme worthy.

Yeah, when /his/ started playing in 2016 the board was too fresh to have a lot of quality players. I remember that roster with things like Rasputin's Dick or just Bismark.
At the end of the day it's a popularity contest, people who wanna watch the team vote on the roster and if they like a specific player it sticks around. Even if the board moves on and it barely gets posted anymore.
But big added value for me comes from the aesthetics. It's not often that you can see Voltaire spear tackling an anime girl, or Taft arguing with a literal skeleton

The match is about to start. There is going to be a special pre-match hype video because it's the 10th anniversary for the team, I'll repost it here later

/int/ is a very weird team and they can turn on the heat at any point, so the 2-2 draw is an okay result. Even though there were a lot of chances that could've pushed it to 3-2.
Either way, here's the special 10th anniversary video that goes through some of the more memorable moments - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJAIAFvQYgI
Next match is on friday against /cm/, an hour earlier than today
