At no moment there was any danger of a megaton nuclear explosion, let alone to sterilizing Europe with radioactive waste. It's almost comically how it repeats the motif of the "price of lies" when it keeps showing myth after myths after myth like the bridge of death, radiation being passed from patients to others (like the pregnant wife) like some kind of infectious disease, the helicopter crashing due radiation, the diving volunteers being a suicide mission (they all lived).
To think, all it took was a bunch of retarded slavs who intentionally removed most of the reactors control rods because they thought the reactor output was too low to permanently mindbreak all of Europe into abandoning the most environmentally friendly and plentiful source of energy on the planet. Such a failure of procedure would simply never happen in a first world country.
