Easy to break, too or very complicated to repair.

There were two types of armor in ancient times.

The “war armor”; designed to be adequate for protection during battles as a reliable & simple to repair or change parts.

The “ceremonial/ritual/spectacle armor”; designed to be aesthetical, flamboyant, and all types of symbols or phylacteries attached to signal a role in society from that ceremony, or spectacle, or ritual.
