In the 21st century, communism has almost 0 purchase with actual working class people. The only communists still around are students and larping trannies from discord. Outside the "developed" world this isn't much different.
There are some insurgent groups in places like India and the Philippines, but they are outliers, and have achieved and will achieve nothing. The Colombian ones gave up and just became drug dealers, and that's probably what will happen to the other ones as well.
In latin america, working class people are increasingly becoming more evangelical and more right wing, and the most left wing position people actually vote for are socdems, and not even proper ones at that. The only communists around are, again, middle class students, and some tiny Trotskyst groups, that might as well be newspaper sellers.

Farmers are the most subsidised group on earth they protest and win 90% of the time unlike Mr software developer who can be replaced in the blink of an eye. Unless you're Australia and you actually have to manage your farm without a safety net.
