The way facial hair constantly goes in an out of fashion throughout history is fascinating to me. In the past few centuries it was in fashion in 16th, 17th and late 19th-early 20th century. All other ages are characterized by clean shaven look, and you could say we are now in sort of beard revival started in 2010s. Why do you think these shifts happen and is there a deeper reason to it?
