P1. If X is good by definition, then the question "Is it true X is good" is not an open question
P2. "Is it true that X is good" is an open question
C. Therefore, X is not good by definition
Ummm... guys? So is goodness not a natural property? If goodness cannot be equated with anything like pleasure, happiness, God's will, because it's an open question whether or not these things are actually good, does this mean we can only know what is good through intuition? Goodness doesn't seem to have any synonyms, every attempt at doing so just leads to an open question!

Ignoring the basic necessity of providing selfless action unto others for the sake of naught but such does not remove said necessity. Your feigned confusion casts dusk only upon your moral actions, and affects negatively all those who would be around you.

Everyone agrees that happiness is good though, at least when it doesn't entail something bad. Find me someone who says otherwise. Even religions that preach self-denial still promise some form of happiness as a reward, clearly considering it a good thing.

God is super-good and goodness is his will. Good is good because God wills it, and it is good because it is God's will. He is not bound by a concept of goodness that is higher than him.

Good" is a versatile adjective describing something positive, desirable, or of high quality, ranging from moral excellence ("a good person") to suitability ("a good fit") and pleasure ("a good time"). It can mean skilled ("good at chess"), enjoyable, or beneficial, with synonyms including excellent, moral, and satisfactory.
As a noun, "good" represents something beneficial ("for your own good") or moral rightness ("the battle of good versus evil").
