The key to understanding Christianity is that none of it was designed to work in the real world. The entire world view assumes the world is going to end and it's about accumulating virtue points for the revolution. Whoever has the most virtue points comes out on top in the new world order. And you don't actually have to leave your house for the new world order. Angels will do everything.

Marx would have hated early Christians because they refuse to take action in the real world. He would have considered them delusional cowards.
