the claims of christianity are literally impossible. God defies the law of mass conservation when he summons bread for the israelites wandering the desert fleeing egypt, and Jesus breaks it again when he multiplies the loaves and fishes. Creatio ex nihilo in genesis is also an example.
These things are not possible in the natural, mundane world. So to believe in these things, you have to believe in the SUPERnatural, aka magic. You believe in magic, a force which is untestable, unobservable, exceedingly rare, and which originates outside our physical universe.
That is very different from me, I don't know, deciding the buy a pack of paper towels at the supermarket because the packaging is green so I accept as a matter of faith that they are eco-friendly.
