Nobody in the Middle East or the Indian Subcontinent identifies as Iranic today. Nobody is running and jumping mountains to learn Persian language either, yet the Arabic classes are stuffed to the seams with students.

Why are there not Pajeets, Pakis or Balochs, Afghan Pashtuns walking around saying "Bro, i'm Iranic, get it correct"

Even Iraqi Shias don't claim to be Iranic.

Why are the Taliban not claiming Iranic identity? Why are the Uzbeks not going around telling everyone they are Iranic?

The only "how could you tell i'm Iranic" types today are the Persians themselves.

If the Iranians were so great and powerful why didn't they leave a legacy of larpers like other Civilization’s do? People who hold historical involvement with the Persians should be scrambling to identify themselves as Iranic or Persian, right? But they aren't.

For example, We are told "nothing is worse than being an Indian", so why are those Indian Pajeets not leaping on the opportunity to say "I'm not Indian, I'm Iranic" if they could indeed back that larping up with some historical evidence?

The Indians say they are Iranians Afghans also speak Persian.

>The Indians say they are Iranians

Seriously? I've never heard an Indian calling himself an Iranian ever in my life.

Afghans may speak Persian but we are told they are not Persian both by Afghans themselves and the Persians. We are told that Afghan Persian and Farsi Persian is "not the same and is in fact 2 different languages" by Persian diaspora.

Us Punjabis are also Iranic

Afgans say they're central-asian culturally and an Iranic ethnic group to demarcate themselves from south asians/indo-aryans.
Balochis are literally iranic

But Pahlavi was Azeri doe..... He was like only 1/4 Mazandarani.

>Balochis are literally iranic

So why do they demand independence from Iran and why do Sunni Muslims say these are separate people a proud Sunni people who have nothing to do with Persians?

persian is just one ethnicity in the broader Iranic group. Some balochis want independence from the nation of Iran (tho possibly a dead movement). But they are quite literally an Iranic group. They don't need to larp

There just hasn’t been a huge pan-iranic identity movement like there has historically been panslavism, pan-germanic, pan-turkic, pan-arabic, and so on. There isn’t really a big one for romance speakers either, other than a few romaboos.

But evidently at one time there was a minor movement:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan-Iranism

One reason for this could be because of the large geographic, cultural, and religious differences between iranic speaking peoples that’s more pronounced than between swedes and germans (developed, mostly lutheran, some catholic) or russians and serbs (mostly orthodox) for instance. A pastoral baloch tribesperson who speaks an iranic language is far removed from a relatively urbane, educated Persian living in Tehran. The sunni-shia conflicts today are like the european wars of religion in the 17th century, which is also the detriment to pan-Arabism
