We can hope so. It is likely it is going to make a comeback. Probably not to the pre Vatican 2 scale but certainly more so than it is today. The reason is that Catholicism is no longer culturally mandatory. Even in its historical countries. Therefore the young people that are Catholic, including converts, are there because they want to be there. Because they’ve made the decision to. Those type of people want the full thing, the full rite in its traditional form. Personally I think switching to the Novus Ordo for most parishes has done more damage than good and think the TLM should be encouraged more. Leo is certainly more lenient on it than Francis was.
