Yeah people from the enlightenment made up a load of myths about it, everyone who knows the first thing about history knows that. What's less well known is a century later the Victorians loved the middle ages and made up the other half of the myths about how everyone was honourable and no one had to work hard that you lot mindlessly parrot.
