No - that's why He suffered and died to stop it

I dunno does your mother enjoy knowing her son spends his free time provoking random retards on the internet?
>>
>>18462513
No. But since you know nothing about God, you believe He is.

>He works in mysterious ways
So do crazy people.

I still cant understand how he took the punishment for all peoples sin just by getting tortured on a cross. Did he really believe that it was the equivalent of even a single man getting burned forever? He should have split himself into billions of copies that stayed in hell forever if he was being genuine about it. Basically gave himself a slap on the wrist compared to the atrocities he had planned for his subjects

>God is infinite.
>Infinite suffering is greater than all finite suffering.
>>
>>18463999
Firstly, getting nailed to a cross for a few days isnt infinite suffering. Secondly, he makes us go through infinite suffering in hell
>>

Respectfully, dig into some more works about the nature of God (e.g. Essence is existence). Aristotle/Aquinas is a good start. Once you get a grip on that then you will better understand why even the slightest offense against Him, the Ultimate Good, is irredeemable by any creature. He created us to be with Him, fully alive. Hell is a choice. Keep seeking and you will find!

The more you read insane cope posts like this the more you realize Christianity has no place in White civilization and is in reality sand people mumbo jumbo.

>I still cant understand how he took the punishment for all peoples sin just by getting tortured on a cross.
>Firstly, getting nailed to a cross for a few days isnt infinite suffering
You're confused. Christ's suffering isn't the redemptive act. If suffering as such were the redemptive act, then more suffering would mean more redemption, which is absurd.

>Secondly, he makes us go through infinite suffering in hell
He doesn't make anyone do anything. The damned are in Hell fundamentally because they freely and finally rejected God in this life.
>>

You are supposed to explain how he redeemed everyones sin if it wasnt by taking their punishment for them. Just saying something isnt the redemption act doesnt tell me anything

A sacrifice is any act done to unite us to God and render Him due worship. A sacrifice requires:
1. a victim
2. a priest
3. an altar
4. an oblation

Christ is simultaneously Priest and Victim. The altar is the cross. The oblation is His interior act of self surrender.
>"For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest... made higher than the heavens... Who needeth not daily... to offer sacrifices... for this he did once, in offering himself."
Hebrews 7:26-27

As Priest He freely offers. As Victim He is what is offered. The Father receives the perfect act of worship that Adam failed to give: a human will in complete, unbroken conformity to God, offered freely in love and obedience under the most extreme conditions imaginable. Because the Priest and Victim is a divine Person, the oblation is of infinite worth, sufficient to satisfy for the sins of all mankind.
>"For as by the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners: so also by the obedience of one, many shall be made just."
Romans 5:19

This is what repairs the disorder of sin, which was essentially a disordering of the will away from God. The suffering is the form the obedience took and the sign of its totality, but it is not the essence of the redemptive act.
>"He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross."
Philippians 2:8
>>
>Psalms 137 "Happy shall he, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Makes god happy. The guy's a freak.

Muh Aquinas is one of the oldest copes in christendom.
>Posit perfectly valid questions of faith
>"Solve" these problems by re-interpreting the scriptures via greekoid aristotelian bullshit
>"Actually the prime mover is infinitely good and awesome so granny is going to hell. But don't worry the blessed get to watch her burn in magic lava to make their blessedness that much better!"
