Nothingness is God.
The distinction and interaction between Light & Dark is Gods creation.
The idea of one being better than the other is Satans heresy.
He was cast out along with his lot, leaving the darkness incomplete and the light with a sense of longing.
The creation of the Son of Light (Jesus) is Gods answer to the heretic, which God imbued in Man - so that he be his greater image in Satans realm of darkness.
The Gnostics and equivalents double down on Satans heresy by implying that a return to nothingness is Gods will, thus denouncing Gods creation alltogether. Which is worse than simply having a shortsighted preference.
Jesus fulfills Gods creation by integrating and fixing the sins of darkness, which is Heaven, rather than denouncing its existence - which is an anti-creation fallacy greater than Satans preference.
