What is the most kino historical period and why is it the Victorian Era?
It's mostly so good because it had a sense of stability and permanence that the West never really had before: a new Pax Romana. Yes there were plenty of wars, but they didn't seriously unravel the whole order like the following conflicts did. It was extremely unstable though and it's a minor miracle that glorious age didn't end sooner.
