Does /his/ collect any antiques or relics from the past?
I collect coins and think it's a very nice hobby
Here are some of the ones I have
Some Roman Denari from the Trajan to Antonius Pius and Italian lire from under Vittorio Emanuel II ans Umberto
I also have a Franc from Napoleon
Its really cool to have something this old in your hands
Thousands of people had this once and bought stuff with it and now there here

I have over 100 ancient coins. Some from the Romans, the Greeks, Chinese… one of my favorites is probably my Alexander the Great drachm minted under Philip III.
>>
Fake and gay. You can easily get those minted and customize the year. Go back to shiny rock general thread in /biz/.

Absolutely! Here’s a small selection of my overall collection.

>The US Mint system lacking the production capacity to put enough coins into circulation to meet the needs of domestic commerce, Americans in the antebellum era made extensive use of foreign currencies. This was abolished with the 1857 Coinage Act which made these no longer legal tender.[3]

ancient coin collecting isn't intended to be investing, its just a hobby

its sad that you have to specify that there is no profit in a hobby
The idea that you would do sometging just for the fun of it without trying to immedialty make a profit out it is just sad its like people have forgotten what hobbys are
Its not just with coin collecting its everything
If you go to the farmers market to buy some good ingredients and make a homecooked meal they say that you could have just went to the restaurant for the same price and bought something there the idea that you would go through the effort of cooking for yourself for fun is just alien to them
If you dont spent the weekend building up youre dropshooping scam and investing in crypto pump and dump schemes then youre wasting youre time
