Yesterday, I learnt that the Anglican Ordinariate in Japan uses Court Japanese in their Holy Masses to imitate the effect of Prayerbook English (thous and thees).
You may recall the story of Hirohito the Mikado of Japan addressing the public at the conclusion of WWII with nearly no one fully understanding him because of the discrepancy between Court Japanese and the vernacular after centuries of separation.
