>>18474597Several of those animals, including the hawk and eagle you didn't highlight, primarily kill and eat fresh prey. And when you look at the rest of the chart there's basically no correlation between what things eat and the pH levels other than a very general and exception filled trend of lower pH if an animal eats other animals. Especially when you consider that the pH scale is logarithmic. A regular horse's stomach is apparently over ten times as acidic as a shetland pony's despite them eating the same exact things with the same exact gut arrangement.
