Should have alligned with the Axis during WW2 and take the opportunity to seize Canada, Mexico, Greenland and the nearby caribbean british posessions (Bermuda, Bahamas and so on)This way Murrica would totally consolidate its dominance over her part of the world, be completely self-sufficient and an impregnable fortress. Plus, there would be now a 1000 toes statue of the Golden Trump in every major Canadian and Mexican city, with people worshipping it.

Then, do not go to war against Germany, in fact sign a non-aggression pact and continue supplying Germany with arms. Focus entirely on Japan, capitulate them with a naval invasion in 1943. Without lend-lease to the USSR and no D-Day, the USSR would be severely weakened and destroyed by Germany. Once the USSR is gone, break the non-aggression pact and take out the Germans. No east-west division, fully occupy Germany. Cuck Britain with war debt (as we did in our timeline), and when the colonies start revolting, we move in to secure them and take them for ourselves.
