There is no logical reason to presume that the renaissance and industrial revolution would not progress without the jews. One might speculate that without this or that Jewish innovator or scientist progress might have been slowed by a small fraction, but there is nothing substantive to this.The same could be said of the British or the French or some other country, if there was no Britain it would have probably had a much more significant effect, since Britain was at the heart of the industrial revolution and produced scientists like Roger Bacon and Isaac Newton.
