Non-existence is better than existence.
>>
>>18478356
This contradicts even the logic of the pessimists themselves. Pessimists claim that the world is meaningless, and since the existence of suffering is bad, and the absence of pleasure is not bad, it is therefore better not to exist. The problem is that they rely on the axiom that the absence of suffering is good, when in fact, according to their own nihilistic logic, everything is meaningless and neither good nor bad.
>>
>>18478363
Suffering can be meaningless despite being "bad" - which is itself a relative and meaningless descriptor of anything.
>>
>>18478378
My dick in your ass is completely meaningless, because everything is relative, bro!
>>
>>18478356
This can't be true since the best possible being itself made existence l
>>
>>18478356
Non-existence is better than mortal life since death is inevitable. But if we could exist as indestructible immortal beings, then existence would be better.
>>
how can you prefer non-existence if no one has been able to tell you what it is like? for a time in my life i didn't like green beans because i had a memory of them smelling bad, but then my grandma told me about their taste (from her experience eating them) and i found enjoyment in them
with non-existence no one with a tasting mouth has been able to eat it yet, so i can not taste it to see how i enjoy it, but with existence i can taste green beans, so i can see how to enjoy existence
>>

>how can you prefer non-existence if no one has been able to tell you what it is like?
I have directly experienced nonexistence before being born and have many vivid memories absolute nothingness, shit was pretty cash.
>>
>>18478443
Ditto but it sucked, I missed out on so many cool things on Earth while I was stuck in nonexistence
>>
>>18478522
If you would have stayed non-existant, you would have never known about the so called "cool things" of existence. You wouldn't even be able to think about them or miss them in any way.

Being born means being thrown into a world of suffering and boredom with the illusion of happiness driving people forward. People rarely achieve their goals/get the things they want. And if they do, it's only to get disappointed about said thing. This leads back to the endless spiral of boredom and suffering.

If you were never born you wouldn't suffer, nor think about the illusions of happiness keeping you in existence.

Exactly
>>
>>18478356
What an insane statement. It is basic fucking math. Something>nothing. Literally.

If life is so bad like you claim antinatalist why haven't you killed yourself?
>>
>>18478443
>directly experienced nonexistence before being born
Before you were born you weren't yourself thus you never experienced it.
>>
>>18478564
By this same logic you cannot experience "non- existence" either.
>>
>>18478564
Even in nonexistence, there was a sense in which I wanted to exist. In the same way that "Hamlet wants to avenge his father" is true, "Anon wants to exist" was true even prior to my actual conception
>>
>>18478571
>If life is so bad like you claim antinatalist why haven't you killed yourself?
Because we're born with survival instincts that make the process of dying also terrible. If life was good, this wouldn't exist and dying would be neutral.
>>
These threads are always made in bad faith
>>
>>18478811
>if life is good why isn't it perfect
Lmao
>>
>>18479082
Where did I say perfect? I merely argued that it shouldn't have a built-in condition that makes you not want to kill yourself through sheer suffering. This obviously means that life sucks shit, otherwise it wouldn't need to hold you hostage unless it gets so bad that overcoming the impulsive survival instinct becomes possible.
>>
>>18479192
The mere fact that you don't overcome your fear of death to end your suffering just proves your suffering isn't as bad as you say it is.
>>
>>18478356
So go non-exist then, what are you waiting for?
>>
>>18478405
>starving is better than eating food since the food will inevitably be gone after you eat it
This is how retarded you sound.
>>
>tfw have a genetic condition that causes me to not experience pain or suffering
Feels good man, sucks to be you guys.
>>
>another month of the schizophrenic depressed tranny spamming no-afterlife/physicalism/mainlander threads in a lapse of sheer mania on /his/ again
>>
>>18478356
Is there any form of existence that is superior to the mindless bliss of non-existence?
>>
>>18479533
We are in the kail yuga of /his/
>>
>>18479625
or if you don't like using Vedic thermology we are in the age of vice
>>
>>18479560
>mindless bliss
Cannot prove this to be true since in order to experience something you have to be alive. Until proven otherwise existence > nonexistentence since something > nothing
