Reading 19th century literature makes it seem that the middle and upper class Russians are just a shadow version of the Anglos.

>Luv me money and capital
>Luv me fashion and dandyism
>Luv me philosophy and intellectual pursuits
>Luv turning sruff like gossip and legal cases into a grand consumer spectacle

>Luv me Officer class who are Chad womnizers
>Luv exploiting the rabble to accumulate wealth, sadly they are our own people though

Modern tsarist russia was kino, I will never forgive the commies for robbing us of more of that. Imagine if they spent the 20th century producing culture instead of gulags, black markets for common household items, and propaganda for anti-nuclear shills.

Serfdom was a part and parcel of the tsardom.

It didn't have to be, Serfdom came to Russia late.

But it was. And they were very obstinate about changing it.
