Why the fuck is the Book of Revelations even in the Bible? It has nothing to do with the gospels or any other part of the Bible, it wasn't written by Jesus nor by the Apostles. The only theological justification for it I could find was "it was written by a guy called John so maybe it was John the Apostle" or "angel guided the writer". Moreover, the wrathful Jesus you get from it is completely different to the hippie in the gospels, and even most Christian scholars agree it's more an apocalyptic book born from oppression. So what gives?
