Would you live in the Netherlands where women have property and other rights? Would you live in Spain and have the Inquisition save you from witch paranoia?

Conversely, what would be the worst place to be a woman in Europe at that time?

Where do places like Ireland, Finland, Sweden, and Poland come to play?

Ireland poor and deranged.
Sweden and Finland insane state that will get your dad son and husband killed in a war and the local priest is who forcefully drafted them.
Poland alright if noble and not living during one of thousands calamities that fell on the country during the time it's ok. If not noble then at least it doesn't matter if it's the deluge or not it's always bad.

Also mind you this is the period when Baltic regularly froze completely. Winters are brutal. Regardless whether you're man or woman you will feel it.

i'm mainly talking about relative to men's emancipation, not overall quality of life

native american matriarchies are not as neat or advanced as the white anglo-american patriarchy, nor are those celtic matriarchies compared to the greco-roman patriarchy

The one that always was: the kitchen.
