Which was more kino, WWI or WWII?
>>
>>18484394
WW1 had some interesting side-conflicts but it was basically a pointless and overblown family feud at the end of the day. WW2 is more interesting to me simply because it had completely different ideologies and ethnic groups (communism vs fascism / Asians vs whites) going at each other using everything at their disposal.
>>
As cliche as it sounds, it's hard not to go with World War 2. The entire war plays out like some fantasy novel. It had clear good guys and bad guys (despite what contrarians online will tell you) and it even ended with a climax of literal nuclear proportion.
>>
>>18484457
Nazis vs Soviets was not a good guys vs bad guys conflict, only edgy teenagers think the USSR was “good”
>>
>>18484394
WWI was such a clusterfuck of different overlapping conflicts that make it kino. I also like the technological side, all those new weapons like tanks and flamethrowers being introduced.
>>
>>18484460
The USSR were the anti-heroes
>>
>>18484463
Nope, they were just as much of a villain as Germany was, and an even more dangerous one given how their ideology eventually spread on a global scale in a way that fascism couldn’t do
>>
>>18484469
>>18484460
That just makes it more narratively interesting when the actual heroes (USA and Britain) have to ally with them against a greater evil.
>>
>>18484394
It'd be cool of WW1 was fought with WW2 tech
>>
WW1 was excellent but WW2 had every advantage - the art of film itself was already alive and thriving, the technology is cooler which allows for the themes of man vs machine, and it had extremely kino things going on like holocausts and nuclear weapons
There is more to work with and therefore its footprint is greater.

Less than 40 years after the first heavier than air flight was achieved you had men taking off from ships, flying hundreds of miles into the empty ocean, attacking other ships, and flying back to their original ship which had changed location

The cold war
>>

Ww2 was just the crippled and sick survivors of ww1 tussling it out in the ruins. Ww1 was the true world shattering ragnarok, the collision of gods.
>>
WW2 is an overrated war with underrated scenarios, such as New Guinea, the South Atlantic, China or Iraq.
>>
>>18484394
There was nothing kino about either of them. Ghouls like you who romanticise war should be locked up desu
>>
>>18484711
>the actual heroes (USA and Britain) have to ally with them against a greater evil.
yes like when the Federation have to team up with Romulans to defeat the Borg
>>
Both were kino.

Cringe tranny virtue signaller. Never read a book ever, zero interest in history.
>>
>>18484394
WW1, even thought Ententa was much stronger, there was still a chance for Central Powers to win, in WW2, there is no scenario where's axis wins
>>
>>18484394
Only contrarians pick WW1.
WW2 is so outlandish it's hard to believe it actually happened.
>>
>>18485321
>Only contrarians pick WW1.
yeah or just people who read books
>>
>>18484449
>Asians vs whites
Nutshell with racist/imperial American involve in Japan (1853), Philippines (1899-1902), Korea (1950-1953), Vietnam (1964-1973), Iraq (2003-2011), Afghanistan (2001-2021)?

Jasta 11 and the Flying Tigers are both the stuff of legend and fame. But painting the planes bright red is the definition of kino.

>Cringe tranny virtue signaller.
tranny accusation out of nowhere
>Never read a book ever
because I don't glorify two events that destroyed European hegemony?
>zero interest in history.
where do you think I am, dickhead?
>>

it didn't happen though

WW2 was more kino
It was more volative, borders moved extreme distances at a high pace which is always more dramatic.

It more ideology driven where every outcome would have been radical from the other. Every side had a unique agency.

WW2 battles had more characteristics as well. The first world war had seemingly identitcal battles of mass-infantry supported by artillery trying to break a line like water on a rock. This is in contrast to WW2 battles that went from air-to-air Battle for Britain to Urban rat wall-to-wall fighting in Stalingrad, to island hopping ampibious invasion in the pacific, to tank divisions encircling half a million men in Belarus during Barbarossa.

WW2 also had more charesmatic leaders and generals, while ww1 leaders and generals had more generic personalities.

I suppose the ultimate factor was that there was more at stake in ww2 than there was in ww1. A central power victort in ww1 would just have mirrored an Entente victory but ww2 was more a clash of civilization with apocalyptic death and destruction for the ultimate goal of reshaping the world.

I used to think WW2 was more kino, but then I read "in Stahlgewittern". That was PEAK KINO.

>where do you think I am, dickhead?
I think you are in a dialation clinic getting an enema or whatever you faggots are doing.

Wars that kill tens of millions of people aren't "kino"
>>
>>18485900
people who morally grandstand about a war that ended over 80 years ago aren't kino
>>
>>18485900
Nigga I don't know how to break this down to you but humans are always most intrigued by the bloodiest parts of history. When reading about WW2 you get a dopamine jolt that you don't get when reading about boring stuff. Yes it's evil, but humans are evil.

>erm jews and liberalism are le good
uh no its fucking not Liberalism, jewish influence, the open society, it all leads to mass oppression, racial strife, and the abuses of human dignity, not to mention the abuses of the most beautiful and moral and altruistic race at the hands of the most vile and undeserving.
non-Whites will seethe but the facts remain, Whites are taller, their more beautiful, they have better facial symmetry, their hair and skin is lighter, they are more likely to start charities and give to others at their own expense.

WWII created the justification for The Open Society, for Liberalism vastly overstepping its right and expectations, and the justification for jewish abuses of power.

If the White race goes extinct because of suicidal altruism then without a doubt WWII was necessarily the victory of the orcs over beauty.

>well i hate White people
yes subhumans tend to be hateful towards their betters.
>>
>>18485727
Pretty much. While both wars were massive, WWII had so much more plot twists in form of rapid advances and comebacks from the brink, not to even mention that empire vs. empire inherently has less ideological drama than a battle between different political systems.
>>
>>18484394
WW1 was just Germany vs France + helpers

WW2 was just Germany vs Soviets + helpers

Depends on you what you like more
