If you're a Christian and you accept what Muhammed said happened to him at face value, you have to conclude that the entity he saw in the cave was a demon. From a Christian POV, there is no other category of supernatural entity that would present itself as angelic while also explicitly denying the Trinity and physically threatening him in order to compel him.
If you start evaluating the after effects of the incident, it triggered the single largest explicitly anti-Christian deception in the history of humanity.
One could reasonably conclude that the man might have been deceived by Satan himself.

In its pure state islam can not contradict christianity, obviously what passes for islam today does, but then again what passes for christianity today isnt
