If pic related never happened, do you think Islam would've ended up more mainstream in the US and its periphery? It seems like most anti-Muslims sentiment in the US can be traced to 9/11, otherwise, would it just be seen as another non-mainstream religion like the occasional Buddhist and Hindu temples are?
