>>18656679The entire overarching narrative of The Elder Scrolls franchise revolves around the conflict between humans and elves, which is rooted on their differing opinions on Lorkhan, the Spirit/God that caused the creation of the mortal plane, with (most) elves believing he was a chaotic trickster who maliciously wanted to trap everybody in a hopelessly limited reality and (most) humans believing he was a benevolent deity who had some sort of cool beneficial plan in mind when coming up with the mortal world. That being said, that shit's arguably a lot more evident in Morrowind than Skyrim, where the story largely just revolves around dragons and the evil elves' motivation isn't really explained all that well.

>>18656971I could never beat the game. I've played it maybe 10 times over the years, but I get bored and quit 50-70% of the way through every time.

>>18656625It's a meme. For me, by far the worst parts of morrowind were the dwemer ruins. I hated them and still hate them and never properly enjoyed morrowind because of that.
>>18657364You don't have to interact with them until the end.
