>be me
>work on heritage railroad
>we have a passenger car with a wheelset in dire need of replacement
>fortunately one of the flatbeds we have a lying around has a serviceable wheelset that's a perfect fit
>car was built in the 1890s for a lumber company and saw use right up until the 1960s, it's one of maybe 2 or 3 of its type still in existence
>frame is so completely rotted through that it's actually warping and drooping to one side, bona fide unrestorable
>even if we were to try and restore it, the frame is completely replaced and the only thing still original to the car at this point would be wheelset
>we pull out of the brake pipe and some other metal parts we can reuse
>we get a chainsaw and start cutting up the frame into smaller pieces so they can be loaded into a tractor
>at one point we start to hear loud buzzing right before a literal fucking hive of bees come swarming out of one of the sections (yes, the lumber was that fucking rotted that an entire colony of bees were able to build their hive in it and no one noticed) and I had to drop everything and flee until they had dispersed
>eventually we load the cut up sections of the frame and take them to a wood dumpster where they will presumably get turned into paper or something like that
>at some point, someone will have to update the website saying we scrapped the car
