The doc said he can cut the foreskin only a bit to make it wider but the problem, in his opinion, will come back again in the future. Let's say the circumcision calls for a need to fully carve out the frenulum tissue. The sensation in that area will still be felt. The underlying nerve pathways are still there.

The frenulum is really just to anchor the foreskin. The reason why the area is sensitive is related to its location deeper below the skin.

Basically if it's spot you feel is not pleasurable you would have felt that way with a foreskin.

The sensitivity you feel in your penis is extremely and utterly related to your brain. Dopamine and the CNS are the core of sexual pleasure. The more horny or aroused you are the more intense the sensation your penis feels.

The fact you report numbness. Indicates that actual nerve damage was brought upon you. This isn't an expected side effect or dulling of sensation. This is actual malpractice from carelessness. This is challenging, but winnable malpractice case is provable.

The other flaw here is orgasm threshold speed is relative to sexual arousal. Amongst other significant factors such as dopamine, prolactin and a bunch more. But if you are now experiencing nerve damage and feeling num to the point of numbness then yes. This could definitely have an effect.
