>>7669279Look depressed, are you depressed?
>>7669279>>7669306I am very happy, too happy perhaps going by the scale of misery that pervades the board. I appreciate your concern however.
>>7669529New drawing? The eyes still look depressed
>>7669216I tried. I haven't drawn a real person since... oh man
>>7669216
>>7670404Cute hands, you from calsarts or doing loli?
>>7670742Beautiful trad, pencil? What is the white stuff?
>>7670996Cum
>>766921620 min sketch
>>7671339Uhhh
>>7671339>>7671360anon you need to commit, at least 1 hour, come on, you can do it.
>>7670996Thanks. It is white chalk.
>>7671440Nice, white chalk, do you have to spray fixative? Will it stick?
>>7671431FineMy back hurts vghh
>>7671446Anon don't have to push yourself for an online drawing...stay safe!
>>7671444I just use white chalk, but I also have no intention of fixating it since I don't often used the sketch book I drew this picture on. Looking at my my older drawings, I can say the white chalk fades a little bit and transfers a little onto the previous pages, but it stays at the same place and remains visible.(I draw on toned gray paper by Strathmore, but I don't know if that's relevant info)
>>7671531Pencil, graphite on gray paper and white chalk, fantastic usage. Safe a lot of time if you cut the shape with dark or light.
>>7671360>>7671431EhhhhGod why are hands so oddI took a nap and my back is alright again
>>7671638What brushes did you use
>>7671643Hard round for most of it and a default oil painting one for the hair
>>7671600It's bending slightly, the form feels slightly pull back. There's tension.
>>7669216I don't know why when I look at this image, I immediately imagine her closing her eyes and shaking her shoulders in the most sassy way possible.
>>7671652Going back
>>7671680Second round, fight! God speed anon. Finish her!
>>7671680The hands are so fuckin me up mang
>>7671701SooooHow'd I do
>>7671785Better than before but the hand shouldn't be black or white
>>7671785Yeeeeah well I can't draw handsIt's so ass
>>7672370It's a challenging pose. I recommend reading Loomis if want to learn hands.
>>7672451Very nice dirty lines, I like it, especially the shadow.
Weekend is coming, time to draw!
Hair and shading are quite bad
>>7673345wtf how did you manage to make her look asian LOL
>>7673345Minus the shading (which makes her face look flat), the form is quite nice, except the lips are a little tilted.
>>7673348It's my super power, so beware or I'll give you a small Asian peepee..>>7673371thanks for the feedback>>7672451nice!
>>7670495Eh I guess you could say I draw loli? I dunno. I just like drawing cute girls of any kind.
>>7673379>I'll give you a small Asian peepee..Already am.>>7673423It's cute, I appreciate cute drawers. Loli are so prosecuted, I feel sad for loli drawers.
>>7669216thumbnail
>>7673516Thumbnail as in smoll drawing?
>>7673729Yes
>>7674613Wtf reminds me of my ex crush.
>>7674624care to tell a story?
>>7674631Can't tell a story here, eventually will write it for a book. Hehe
>>7670446Amazing brother
>>7671107>>7671316Very nice
got bored of it midway through
>>7674911purdy gud though. do you listen to stuff while doodling? audiobooks keep my stupid word brain entertained, so the draw brain can go at it
>>7675004thsanks !! ye, i do listen to stuff while painting or drawingtho, i pretty much listen to music 24/7
>>7675018Have you tried not listening? Is drawing better with or without? I got instantly better without.
>>7675184i tried and i can't perform as well, i can put on the same results, but it gets me agitatedi have anxiety, so music or background noise will help keep away the ''useless'' thoughts, it is kind of a bad habit for me tho, i can't listen to music while on work, so i get agitated and as soon as i get off work i instantly put on some musicso, ye... it helps me concentrate on my drawings and other things
>>7675218Sounds like you need to stop listening if you know it is a bad habit, a valid reason to quit.
>>7675270ye fr, but it's easier said than done
>>7675317nta, but its fine. i'm the same. all the other people are mostly just noise, have nothing to say but talk all day. its rare to find someone who isnt just noise. put on the music if it helps you, youre not alone.
>>7675329fr, i feel like it would help just the same if i had someone that i genuinely enjoyed wasting time with, but that's not the case, so music and drawing it is
>>7675317Use a electric collar muhahahsha
This is almost the exact pose we had for the last DTIYS thread....
>>7675494buy me one
>>7669216Not sure if /beg should try, still here's my go at it
>>7670742Best one
>>7675018oh hello, fellow viagra boys enjoyer
>>7675982howdy, i was sleepin
>>7675884If you are worth owning.>>7675941Good try
>>7676125i could be your sweet Galatea
you guys just draw random shit you see on /ic/? how???? drawing is agony for me and I have to work up the strength to do it.
>>7676193>drawing is agony for meperhaps don't draw then? get another hobby
>>7669216difficult , reference is so spotless and perfect and kinda flat idkright is more what i'd draw normally
>>7672451love this
>>7676165If you are made of ivory.>>7676389It takes skill to make it 3D.
>>7676630She is so smug lmao
>>7677395Anon, you have to chill with the pencil, hold it like it is a baby's or a woman's hand, you are so hard with your pencil that the paper is warping.
>>7675941Gave it another go, trying to make her more lookalike. Failed.
>>7677398Don't worry, it's all part of the process. You are bored of the picture?
>>7677404It's kind of unnatural looking to me, probably due to camera lenses used, dunno
>>7677486I don't know what to tell you buddy, you have to draw a lot more, but I believe you can, because you actually did something that expressed your boredom or at least I felt it in your lines.
>>7670446Always love seeing your stuff
>>7670742This one is great>>7671107I like the style and feeling of this one >>7671316Soul. It’s giving Tim Burton
>>7677489I draw a bit everyday, trying to get a bit better at it studying but so far not much is changing.I'll eventually improve I think
>>7677518Try drawing circles and lines for fun. If you want to practice.
>>7677524Oh in doodle around whenever I have the chance
My participation
>>7677844What's up with the painting out of frame lol
>>7678588I did the frame after
>>7677844Do not belong to beg and ints mate!
>>7678952I see, you like to paint on big canvas and crop after...
>>7675941>>7677398I was so disappointed at myself that I had to try again with a bit more effort... And I gave a try at hands tooAny suggestions are welcome, as always.
>>7679034Seems like you just need to draw more, it's getting better each time.
>>7679158I'll trust you on this, I'm always so unsatisfied and never feel in move forward...Also I'm having a hard time spotting where I mess up
An attempt was made, but at least I'm starting to see where I'm fucking up with feature placement (unfortunately after I'm done).
>>7681757You can always draw again
Vintage hairs, how the fuck do they work.
Even though this could be a lot better in many ways I had fun making this.I fucking suck at drawing fingers and this really shows it, along with me being lazy by not drawing her bracelet properly. Also was about to make adjusments to hair, but Krita crashed so yeah.
>>7685618Oh yeah, also had not clue about the hair so I just did "something" lol. Should really follow the refrence and learn new stuff
>>7682260They flow like wind on smooth long grass.
>>7688480That diagonal lines, reminds me of photoshop filters, I long have abandoned all abode products.
>>7670742fucking amazing
I say this thread still has a bit of life left in it. Bump
idk cant draw faces or hands so good practice, made will playing vidya
>>7695949damn the shading looks alot lighter on here
>>7670742Blog plzzzz
A lot of good stuff in here. A lot of people putting in the work to get better. I appreciate it all.
My attempt. Fun exercise guys!
>>7699703diggin this one
>>7677398>Failed.There is no failure in art. You stepped up, you did what you did. Keep at it! :)
>>7677395Cute!
>>7701565Best hair of thread
>>7670742Very nice drawing but I get some 50s 60s pin up vibes
I drawed this and it succeeded pretty good for /beg/ except hair and hands which I didn't even try much, I focused on getting the facial proportions and features correct feels pretty good
Quickie
I shown my mom all your drawings and she had a few laughter, like a few, she unfortunately did not like my drawing lmao. All in all a wholesome experience.
>>7702982>she unfortunately did not like my drawing lmaobad mamma
>>7669216Keeping it oldschool
bump.
I like the reference, where to find more old photos like that one?
I envy all who can paint.
>>7708683probably pinterest. look for clara bow and it'll suggest you more if you browse the pictures
7670404I like this.7670742Great7673516Cute7675941Try anything, keep going. 7676630Super Cute>>7699703Super hot. I hate spam detection so much.
>>7710119
Was fun
looking at everyone else.. I'm average! yey! my mediocrity is less mediocre!
>>7711587that left eye is too far apart from the right, but other than that i like everything here
Just as I was finishing I noticed the face ended up way too long. Well fuck it good enough, been a long day.
>>7714796i do this a lot. putting the piece away after sketchinh helps find issues
>>7714664Yeah I tend to do that does this look better?
>>7715265Different anon here. The left eye is still needs to be nudged more to the right. Also I think the slight tilt to the face is fucking with the angle of the bangs, which deferred more to the reference who is more vertically aligned instead of being adapted to your own take. Here's my 'corrections', take it with a grain of salt
>>7669216I wanted to exaggerate her hair just a bit more, but I got lazy towards the end, oh well.
I don't have a style so here's a quick sketch
>>7670404>>7670742>>7671316>>7672451>>7674911>>7676630I dig these ones
>>7716388cont.>>7677844>>7696301>>7699703>>7701565>>7702444And I dig these ones too.
stop giving me the jellies :(
Tried to redraw it from memory. Eyes jsut wandered off her head
>>7718613gud job anon. Here's some acknowledgement.
>>7718613pshh shut up dude, I can draw better than you, dude but I'm not using pencils this year so you're lucky ;-)
>>7715576Cerulean?
>>7722441Feeling blue?
>>7722620apparently it was obvious
theres not enough dtiys threads
>>7723468I'm digging the obvious chunky square brush.
>>7723468Dtiys was the only thing that i liked about ic. Somebody make some
>>7723468>>7723601A lot of threads become dtiys threads without the label, like >>7684799 which has a bunch of people redrawing the OP's reference.
>>7669216I keep telling myself I'll finish this, but it's been like 3 weeks, so it's not happening.
Haven’t really developed my own style I’m only just venturing into adding values after learning loomis for block in… I hate drawing hair
Had another go adding abit of value and style
>>7724643An own style comes naturally when you just do the work and the studies. You don't really have to chase the "my style" development goal.
>>7724643What >>7727401 said. A style will come naturally as you form your own work habits and shortcuts. The only times this isn't the case is when you try too hard to copy someone else's style.
>>7681757i rlly love this style
