Crazy to see corru.observer art by my house in the middle of bum fuck nowhere.
>tfw don't know anything drawn by my housefeels bad man
>>7679861stop being impatient
Blue Marble doesn't let me shrink the images so it's no good. I've been trying to recreate this but I'm no good at art, so I've just been counting the pixels and doing it that way.
>>7674621Do you know how to activate the blue marble userscript with violentmonkey? It's loaded and running, but not showing any button or anything on the site.
>>7674621I assume people just cheat and use bots to make these? That's what happened on reddit's.
I'd love to be drawing, but the servers keep going down even if literal millions of people are giving it ads revenue and buying the booster packs.
pixel art is fun and simple to make, no skill required.
>find my hometown>mostly deltarune slop
made a thing to keep track of my pixels since I don't think anyone else has yet
Not even halfway done and Im already fighting someone who is constantly trying to add something weird to my drawing.
>>7691092It's not worth it senpai, wplace was KINO when grifers were rare. Now it's pic related as you babysit your fucking drawing that took way too long because it was made pixel by pixel as even a lone ween with many accounts can wipe it out in one shot. I made a very complex drawing and now regret it as I have to waste time looking to repel the next horde of weens.
>>7682572glowies are onto you
>>7695517>got more replies in only 16 hours
>>7682131i think wplace threads are being suppressed because they dont want 4chan to do what it would have done a decade ago and put black guys and swastiskas everywhere and drive up server fees
I found a new obscure way of trolling. I've done this 5 times now and I'm not sure of anyone's caught on yet.
>>7696667I don't get it
>>7701612I think that anon did something to the crotch more male-proportioned? Otherwise I wouldn't know either

One more shameless shill. Geopixels.net
>be me>make Pokemon pixel art of my walkthrough team/fave mons>there is someone’s unfinished pixel art in the way (beginning of an outline)>afk for a week>cover it>suddenly the guy comes back>so mad that he destroys all my stuff>not even covering with color but straight up deleting itI’m done. That was fun but reporting him doesn’t work, every time I come back he is deleting more of my stuff.
>>7704559looks like a shitty clone that's worse in every way other than that you can actually define additional colors.and the monetization model looks like an absolute fucking joke(not only is it a lot more expensive compared to wplace, it's more aggressive and upfront about "hey we'll sell you the currency :^)" )
>>7704600I focused on improving the moderation system which seemed to be the main pain point, mostly to deal quicker with griefers, but also be able to destitute or punish unfair modding a lot easier and quicker too. And for monetization isn't it about the same? I thought of the prices of things on a pixels per hours matter, and then the monetization was added afterwards.
>>7704608you are grossly overestimating the number of people who would spend money on this shit.Price per capacity is more than twice the cost on wplace in terms of actual USD($5=25000 droplets=+250 max charge vs $5=1000 pixels=+100 max charge)). The "progression" in freely acquired currency is also gimped in comparison(wplace drops 500 currency per level up on you and you level up really fast at the early stages), which even at high-ish levels(level 80+) equates to >1k droplets per 500 placed, where you just give 50 per 500 flat(which is where you seem to have placed your "costs equal" for capacity cost). The time reduction per regen is also just whale tier. You can't feasibly expect someone to actually bother with it as a "free" player and it just looks bad since it's actually a very impactful benefit but it's also absurdly expensive. For reference, on wplace, the ideal "goal" to get your capacity to is somewhere around 880-1k~ total, since it gives you a bit of a buffer to be away to actually sleep and do other shit(and you'd need 840 for 7 hours). But if you double the regen time? You need twice that. And if you shill in, not only are you being gouged $30 to max that out, you then have to get your capacity sorted to actually take advantage of it. And with the gimped "progression" it's not realistic to get it 'naturally.'tl;dr: You're basically asking people to drop $100 for an "I win" shirt on a platform that is completely barren, that people only want to interact with to interact with/collaborate with other people. And "free" players probably aren't going to bother since it's much slower to progress/do things and they have a very impactful element dangled in front of them going "hey, just swipe :)"Or to put it another way, it feels like a chink knockoff that lost the plot. Also from what I can tell it seems like pixel size is larger than wplace and that feels a little worse.
>>7704621I see, i'll tweak the numbers then, maybe something like getting 2 pixels per 10 pixels instead? That kind of halves every other price naturally, besides the card swiping which i'll adjust accordingly then too. As i said i put the numbers as i felt like i'd personally would be happy grinding for. But i guess i lean towards having resistance for that. And for the pixel size i set it up to 50m, it felt like a right middle point, and i don't want to copy too much to WPlace in terms of numbers to avoid issues, hence why i also just recalled more or less how they did monetization and iterated on itI appreciate the feedback
>>7704633I think you're focusing a bit too much on numbers and forgetting that this is, very technically speaking, a game. Game elements are fun and encourage interaction. The level system works well because it drops a lump sum on top of you that you can do something with RIGHT NOW. "Oh I'm only 80 placements away from levelling up and then that'll let me get another +5 capacity" feels better to monkey brain than "oh I need X more currency and that means I need to do Y more things." It just eliminates some of the math and that reduces friction. Which, for that matter, so does having it be 1:1 place thing, get currency vs your 10:1 placement:currency. Unnecessary math is bad. Oh and I also forgot that you actually get +2 capacity per level, so the math is even more skewed and would need some form of further correction than just doubling your currency payout.Something that can alleviate things would be first X placements per day getting additional currency. This encourages daily interaction and also helps "new" players jump-start a little bit. Also, you should scale the time reduction to not be linear. Rather than 500 per second off, start it at 50, then jump it to 75 for the next, then jump it to 125, etc. I'm not going to do the math to get the real numbers but you should be able to scale it appropriately where it's still the same cost to max it out while still having "free" players be fine with the idea of grinding it to like 22-25 seconds/regen.Also, hide the fucking monetization. wplace's monetization is bad but it's at least hidden behind sub-menus(you have to click the droplet total to reveal it). It's real easy to find but it's also really easy to ignore as opposed to seeing price conversion at the bottom of a user menu. But this sort of shit is what I meant by it feeling/looking like a cheap chink knockoff. While shit going on on wplace over the past week has been pretty fucked, it actually has thought behind a lot of the mechanics and UX/UI.
>>7704649I was looking more at it from the angle of 'Let me place pixels and not get griefed' kind of angle which is why i focused on the moderation system. But i think i can spend a few more days adding some onboarding or just game-y things, nothing so far seems like it'd need anything more than tweaking or adding stuff which is a lot easier than redesigning stuff. The whole project took around 11 days from not knowing how maps even worked so i should be able to get it quickly out.
>>7704656different anon here, haven't even made an account but just looked at the website for a bit. I was initally very confused about how selecting pixels worked since you need to be so zoomed in for it to start wokring and there's nothing that really tells you that other than when the palette shows up, needing to be so zoomed in before you can place any pixels is also annoying and so is the draw distance in general. Even the small drawing you have in NY takes like a 3rd of the screen space at min zoom before it disappears.
>>7704683Did you start zoomed to far out to place pixels? That shouldn't happen. If you changed it, then yes i wanted to make a more zoomed out just to view the pixels, and when zoomed in you can actually interact with the canvas, if i allowed to draw too far out you start to not be able to make out the pixels you draw. But i can add another zoom out level before the pixels disappear
>>7704690ok I figured out the real problem. You have an ugly ass scaling method that blends the pixels together when zoomed out the farthest despite them being 1 literal pixel of my screen.
>>7704719I'm not really sure what you mean, as far as i know the dealings of scaling the map is one of those things that depends on the user, browser, device, and all of that, there shouldn't be much issues but i can look closer into it. Does it not look like this at max zoom out?
>>7704723mine does look worse but yours is still not perfect. Zoom into the G of your image and check how the rightmost pixel appears to connect with the ones to its NW and SW, despite it being diagonal from them.
>>7704723compare to how the text looks in wplace, even at the smallest it's still perfectly legible and none of the pixels blend
>>7704733That does looks odd. As i said i have no idea what causes it. I think WPlace uses raster instead of vectors to do everything on the map, a questionable choice for everything performance related, but it may be affecting this too. I'll see how i can fix that
>>7704723nta but the rendering is absolutely fucked.top is a cap from having the map at one position. bottom is from just dragging the map slightly in a different direction. Both are at the same zoom level.
Could you help me with finish this artwork?https://wplace.live/?lat=40.92978344456234&lng=-96.04731478447266&zoom=17.5I'm trying to complete this pixel. This is my Transgender OC. I'm going to sleep soon. Thanks, Good night.
bunch of political bs happening here. feel free to draw whatever you want on tophttps://wplace.live/?lat=41.418015284525445&lng=-85.75655306572266&zoom=13.057334078091417
Is there a way to see bookmarked (favorited) spots?
>>7709451zoom out
>>7708171Place looks like a warzone. Why did you remove the Deltarune art though?
I really would like some help with making a Shantae in Gothenburg, Sweden. Coords for the layout (picrel) are 1090 619 494 1, located in the sea north of Torslanda.
>>7708152you're no helpful person. I have been hard working on my Trans OC. You don't have a heart to helping out. I was hope that you could finish it quickly for me. I guess I was wrong. But 4chan is just lazy and cares about only political things.
finishing up this piece
did some over a week, i did a kekistan flag, but 3 guys from out of no where covered it up
