Easels are a scam, you can just use a stepladder with protruding steps or just add a bit of wood to the top one to hold the canvas.>Cheap>Can put a ton of stuff on the other steps>You probably already own one>Compliments a punk aesthetic if that's what you're going for

Plus that angle doesn't seen super comfortable to work at, both low and overly slanted while the wood/steps are too straight.Also they're kind of heavy compared to easels.
