so what will it be this year
>>771167621 is Blast22 is Button23 is FireFly
Last year’s was just terrible.

The official ones get worse and worse each year, I usually just look online for ones other people make or make my own.
>>7711743Totally one-note and thoughtless list. They could make decent ones before, so what the heck happened in 2024? Of course a creative person could turn any of these into a unique interpretation, but the vast majority of participants would read #5 and draw just a literal pair of stock image binoculars and nothing else.
ok, not too bad. do your best boys.
It's just going to be 31 plaphogs in various bukkake gangbangs.
Been trying to work traditionally more so this is a good excuse. Maybe I can use last year's list for practice. I think I might use my markers this year too.
>>7712393I kinda like it. Plenty of verbs and adjectives that lend themselves well to creative interpretations.I've never done an Inktober before. Always felt too intimidated by the commitment. Maybe this time I will try. Looking forward to the challenge, and to seeing all the cool stuff from the anons here.
Is Inktober even a good way to branch out? It feels like the Artfight thing, so totally insular but so popular that even people who participate just don't go browsing other people's stuff.Artfight for over 20 year olds, is the vibe here.
>>7712393>4. Murky>27. OnionI will now draw your prompt list.
i did inktober a few time im over it, tried a daily comic one time but that petered out. didnt do shit last year, i'm falling off brosshould draw 31 nude babes to keep interested
>>7713913nude babes is pretty fun looking forward to your interpretations>moustache>starfish>skeletal>shredded
The more specific themed thingtobers are better IMO. Prompts being too vague just leads to you into trying to cheat the prompt with boring interpretations like >>7711755Like, if I tell you to draw a "bottle", it's going to be some stock standard shit every time. But if I tell you to draw a "dragon bottle" you might actually come up with something unique.
the more you have to work to make something creative from the word, the stronger your creativity becomes.
>>7712393this is going to be my first inktober but I think I'll have some problem with rowdy, deal, blunder, and reckless. I can just draw 'oijak in onion prompt because of wordfilter (sitekultur). btw are they accepting some kind of character fanart drawing? like in mustache for example, I draw a spunchbub with mustache, is that acceptable or they will sent someone to my house to torture and rape me or something
>>7714088they sent someone to my house but it was just mormons
>>7711676How can I prep myself for this year's inktober? I am a complete /beg/. I have approximately a month to learn a little at least.
>>7714431Peter Han's Dynamic Sketching course would be perfect but Inktober is 1 month away, and that is a 3 month course, so NGMI unless you spend 12 hr days for the entire month.
>>7714443Eh that's tough honestly. I'll try anyways though
I'm making my own [thing]-tober list.
Inktober threads are super-comfy, and I really enjoy the interaction/critique. Waffling a bit on doing it this year, but I think if I plan ahead (not draw ahead) a little it won't be as time consuming.
>>7714557Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? The prompts are meant to be an outside influence to inspire ideas you wouldn't come up with on your own.
