If you're gonna relearn how to draw, how would you learn? What do you do?
>>
The first thing I would do is research how to learn and try to strategize a curriculum carefully instead of jumping haphazardly into practice.
>>
i would stay away from any resource that tells me to arbitrarily grind
>>
>>7716769
Yeah, this. As a /beg/ I wasted two years mindlessly grinding because I took some retard’s advice seriously. 5 minutes of conscious effort is probably better than 5 hours of grinding.

Having a clear goal is really important. Know what medium, art style, subject matter etc. you want to draw will make it easy to know what resources will help you achieve that goal.

>relearn how to draw
invent a time machine and give myself a fucking helmet to prevent whatever head injury caused me to start at 0
i'm not going through all that shit again
>>
Be reborn with talent. It's nice to see Marco Bussy's progress and how shitty he was at the start, but his improvement was indeed rapid and indeed indicative of unexplored talent. If you've been drawing for a couple years and aren't at least very good, chances are you don't have talent and natural appeal. That's not to say you can't get better, but you'll probably never be a wonderful artist.
>>
first i would actually draw instead of daydreaming/making threads about wanting to draw

I wouldnt change anything
I would simply remove my "no drawing" periods of my life
At a young age I loved drawing cartoons and stuff
I then stopped drawing until high school were I drew anime and cartoons
Then I stopped drawing until university
And then decided to learn fundies
Then I went back to drawing cartoons
Then I did pixelart
Then I did game dev
Then I drew for fun
>>
>>7716844
Holy shit
I drew this like 20 years ago
How is it still being used here
I posted it in a reaction thread or something fun times
>>
