>>7718425He's Asian, and it's his style.
>>7718421honest question, why do you even want to learn to draw if you don't have any desire to draw?
>>7718579Intuition. You have to be able to listen to yourself and enter your inner cosmos.
>>7718579Also, the more time you spend training your brain to solve a problem type, the better you will get at it. Creativity is problem solving. If you do it often you will get used to it.
>>7721320>AsianI tend to find that the vast majority of Asian artists are needlessly dickheads for the sake of being dickheads. Fuck ‘em.
>>7718421It's a course by an autist for autists, any person above retardation quickly realises that it is a massive waste of time. It's a great containment zone for morons and art failures though.

My problem with drawabox is that working with fineliner feels fundamentally different from exploring and sketching with a pencil, and it doesn't teach that at all. So when you sit down to do the stupid "50/50" rule you can't apply anything from the exercises to thatI still think it's useful at teaching perspective and form but it feels like it totally misses the mark as an intro drawing course because fineliner is so hyper specific
