>>7721483I mean you can, doesn't mean you shoudl.
>>7721483Whats wrong with a wooden ruler
If you can use a ruler, why can't you photobash? If you can photobash, why can't you use AI?
>>7721490>Why can't you keep a painter in your basement and sign everything yourself?
>>7721490The hell is a photobash.
No
Why are you using a ruler? Can't you draw a straight line?
>>7721521To be honest no, it makes me retarded, angry and confused.
>>7721483No, lay your forearm flat and use it as a straightedge. You should also be processing your dead skin into paper and drawing with a bleeding fingertip.
>>7721483There are no rulers, just tools.
>>7721483I don't think you should.
>>7721544You either die a ruler, or you live long enough to see yourself become the tooler.
>>7721483In trad, you shoud.
>>7721483Yeah, go ahead. Contrary to popular belief, you can use a tool and practice doing it freehand as well until you're comfortable.
>>7721483In traditional drawing it is completely useful, whoever tells you otherwise probably draws freehand, but in precision linear drawings the ruler is essential, at least in symmetry.
>>7721483I don't use this and never will. You can use it, tho. Take a photograph and trace it. Who's gonna stop you?Even purists use a brush or pen - those are tools.
Alright thanks /ic/, i was asking because i use a lot of straight lines to adjust perspective and proportions so i was burning with fury since i can't get them freehand yet.But i guess some tools in trad is not bad, i only wonder how to improve my hand for precision.
