What are some good tweening programs i could try out, preferably free or cheap? I spend way too much time drawing things where the characters barely change perspective or move and I'd like to cut the time down so I can work on practice stuff as well.

I meant ballsack not ballpark, my phone is retarded. I get that you're going for a puffy vulva but the way you're drawing it... in the first example it straight up looks like a ballsack, in the second example it's not so bad but the line you drew at the bottom of the labia (or top of the drawing) makes the vulva puff out, creating a weird mass that is nearly folding over the asshole. Just look at a reference. Less is more, you don't need contour lines for everything.

One tip I would give is to only use lines for outer contours, edges, folds, creases, etc. Use light and dark values (shading) for softer parts of a form. It will look much more natural

Woah mama. If your question is pic related they copy-pasted the face between frames. In general if the face angle changes you'd animate some construction lines across the face in the rough stage to make sure the eye position stays consistent

when you are a semi-decently sized production house you need things to be legible to anyyone at anytime
so when the deadine is crunchy you have to be able to put every hand on deck to get shot's done in priority
having a handy dandy diagram from the key animator telling you exactly how the in-between needs to be drawn is a great help
beside as a studio manager you want your best key animators laying down the keys of as man sakuga shots as possible
while leaving the grunt work to the cheaper and easier to hire in-betweeners
its a cost/value ratio thing
ofc its unnecessary for solo indie animators
but knowing the system is good for your resume esp if u plan on not starving

One thing you can do if you want to make it feel a bit more like you hand drew each frame is to reline some of those pasted frames so it doesn't look so obvious you simply just reused it, but honestly, if you don't want to use the digital tools why not just animate traditionally at that point

all the background work was an environment I built off of basic geometry and textures found of buildings on Pinterest. Then I just lit the scene and let the built-in shadows and lighting effects do the heavy lifting on making the 2d drawings feel integrated in the scene.

I get this is kind of the most /beg/ of questions; but what's kind of the standard of animation softwares? Like for regular drawing and painting it's obviously Photoshop and Clip Studio, but animation is kind of a new world for me and I'm confused. I looked at ToonBoom but they only do monthly plans and I don't wanna do that shit.

You could always yar-harr the software, but personally never tried ToonBoom. I hear people say it’s easier, but I don’t know. Most animation programs are the same to me.
I use CSP EX when I animate. I bounce between 12fps and 24fps (trying to stay 24s since it’s the “standard”). You could also try animating in Blender (it’s free), but it is quite the learning curve.
Don’t do monthly plans. They are a trap and you should have to pay monthly for software.

Have you tried Postitnotes? The physical paper I mean. Just doodle on one of those badboys and flip through it real fast to see the pictures move. That should get you started without investing in anything other than post it notes and pens/pencils.
