I was using this program and it is full of errors and on top of that it was made by a troon. Are Corel Painter and Rebelle 7 better options?
>>
i'm sure troons are breathing oxygen right now, you gonna stop breathing now?

Yeah, /g/ had a whole campaign to cancel Krita over it with memes being made in protest. In the end CSP, azpainter or SAI won out as choices suitable for anons.
>>
CSP is great, Rebelle is great. 8 will have a demo version soon.
>>

Anon, the fact you need to ask this means you haven't checked to make sure every software and product in your home hasn't been touched by a transexual in the production pipeline. You need to do this ASAP, otherwise you will become trans too. Also, make sure when a waiter asks you for your order, grab their crouch to make sure they are no trans. Never take orders from trans people, or you catch the trans.

Rebelle 7 has good tools for simulating watercolors. Corel Painter is a better option. However, Corel Painter is heavier but often superior. Krita is quite limited and by troons

Troons are not known for longevity and stability, it's only natural to abandon a project headed by troons for a more sustainable solution.
>>
I use Krita. It works when I draw so I have no complaints.
>>
I use MyPaint. It's shit but I don't care so no complaints.

thank goodness I use CSP, fucking Krita.
>>
Problem with Krita is that it's good now but 10 years too late to the party. People want software with features that support their workflow now. Just having all the basic drawing features is so 2010. Doesn't help that most of the Krita trannies ITT probably don't even use Krita
>>
>>7726612

its drawing software nigger, if you dont like it in its current state dont use it, it literally DOESNT need updates or changes if it can lay lines and colors down, anything else is just nodraw tech fetishism

what issues have you guys ran into?
i have been using krita for a long time and have not had any issues so far, i also appreciate all the functionality it has for free

I would bet my left nut a handful of troons have contribute to different linux distros which are used to run the whole serverside of like 99% of websites so I guess you shouldn't use the internet at all.
>>
>>7725730
The best thing about krita is that it is open source, fuck closed slop.
>>
>>7725730

probably but I disabled that faggy splash screen they tried hard-coding into the program so I'm fine for now. I would've given them donations if they hadn't done that

Do any Krita users here know how to put a reference on another screen?
If I use my browser for showing the ref it closes as soon as I click anything on my canvas and the main UI of Krita pops up. And I don't want the reference image method since it's directly on my canvas then. Just want the ref on my primary screen while I draw on my screen tablet

Unlike half of you, buffoons, I have principles and I stick by them. I will never touch a program made by a transexual faggot. I wanted to switch to Linux, but I am sticking to Windows and Photoshop. Thanks for informing me

Nothing.

>>7727657

This. I've used Gimp before and it's a drag.
I considered just buying CSP, but that was before I switched from windows to an android tablet.
I like that Krita is Free and Open Source, unlike CSP and Photoshop, both of which require subscriptions on mobile.
Setting up Krita to suit my needs took me a moment, but I have yet to see a better free android drawing app that is this customisable and not crammed full of ads.
>>
>>7729226
You can put reference images outside of your canvas too.
As for the second screen, seems like you have a problem with Windows settings. I can even play youtube videos while drawing.
>>
>>7729226
I've used PureRef but there are other programs specifically for references that you can set to always be on top. You can pick wherever. I find it more convenient to have a separate program to drag and drop my references into.
>Just want the ref on my primary screen while I draw on my screen tablet
What kind of drawing tablet do you use? Does this only happen with Krita or is this a general problem with drawing on your tablet?

>Some people just think trannies have cooties.
I don't think you want to go there... According to the CDC, if you're in a big US city and you see a tranny you can pretty much flip a coin to guess if they have cooties. It's kind of funny that they think the general population is out to get them them when the normal taxpayer is the reason they have their antiretrovirals for free since we pity them and don't want to see them rot in the apartment next door thanks to the results of their own actions.
>>
>>7729367
I don't see how people having STDs is connected to why it's bad that they're developing software

Theres nothing on the offical website implying that Krita is made by troon.
>The origin of Krita can be traced to Matthias Ettrich's at the 1998 Linux Kongress.
OP is just a nodraw bringing consolewar mentality to a fucking drawing programs.

If you want to sleep around and frech kiss every gal and sex worker you meet with no PrEP, that's on you. But unless you're pirating, you're probably too busy getting fucked by proprietary software switching to subscription only models...

I managed to fix the problem by realizing I just have to stop using Krita's main window on full screen mode so that I can make it really small and put the browser with the ref beside it. Canvas is on my second screen (Wacom)
