i have just recieved a commission for a manga. What's the average pricing for that?
i have accepted a commission for a manga but i didn't list my prices up front halp guys
>>7734162I haven't accepted yet. He just dm'd me. I just don't know how to price that. I'm not even sure if i am skilled enough for that
How big a project? Single page?I'd say 100-150 bucks a page and if he orders bigger batch, discount it accordingly. Do remember the clients are from first world countries with money to spare on luxury of having other draw for them. Third world country drawfags can charge less because in their country less money can still allow them to live like kings. If you are first worlder, don't try to compete with third worler's prices, instead charge for the level your country's prices are. Also you haven't been commed until you get the money. Always take the money upfront.
>>7734160Estimate time. Multiply with minimum wage. Estimate materials and expenses like electricity, internet, etc. Find out bank, etc. fees. Find out taxes. Hedge for currency risk. Algebra is really important. Combine them, get a number and multiply it by 2.

>>7734173nobody is gonna pay that much
>>7734160I'd ask for $50 a page but that's because I'm a filthy 3rd worlder.

>>7734160To ask for a commission, you first have to learn to draw. Stop being such a sissy.
at least $200 per page.
>>7734160$60 to $200 dollaridoos per page depending on your capability and popularity
>>7734160i'd probably charge like 20 dollars per hour of labor if i took commissions.
