Legitimate thoughts on AI art?
I think it's fine.
>>7734289AI is extremely limited and it won't be good enough to replace (you) because of the way it's trained. I don't have hope for AGI either, specially after GPT-5 fiasco.
>>7734289it's a cool technology.Woud be better it never existed, but it does.
>>7734289Dull, mostly used and made by people with so little taste they don't realise how boring the work they're "making" is.It's also ruining the internet because now we're being flooded by even MORE bog standard low effort dull shit than what it was previously. This isn't to say there isn't some cool possibilities that can come from AI images, but artists - people who would actually put effort into creating cool visual pieces - are mostly repelled by AI for a large variety of factors, and those who were not artists and are making AI images now are seemingly all lazy fucks and put zero effort into their work... which would explain why they could be arsed drawing before. Not to mention how fucking unoriginal ai creators are - should someone actually make something interesting with AI, that idea is sucked dry and ruined within the hour by the other soulless proompters. Remember the balenciaga trend? That horse corpse is a pile of rotten mincemeat now.>hehe, but check out THIS ai image, doesn't it look human ma-And why is it every faggot ai creator wants to pretend to be an artist? If ai is so cool, just own it? Say you made the piece with ai, stop trying to pretend you have any skills outside of proompting.>b-b-but this ai image is go-and it's a drop in the bucket from the spray of dreck diarrhea we're currently all drowning in.So final thoughts; fuck ai.
It gives me same physiological response as looking at a turd in a public toilet. Also, there's no such thing as AI *art*. Calling it as such is just giving indians more power.
>>7734289Even as a hopeless anime coomer I just don't find it appealing
>>7734289As a tool for making little images for yourself - yeah its great and funAs something you share online because youre "proud" of making said image? Lame and gayPeople who spam 8 million nearly identical images of the same anime girl in some specific scenario are fucking losers
There are some incredible AI artists on X. I mean literally god-tier. Most AI art is slop, unsurprisingly, but you have some that's mindblowing. Luddites are faggy copers.
>>7734730>imagine calling Twitter Xnot even gonna call it Xitter pajeetsama
>>7734762>brainbroken troony pooGrow up.
>7734763You know nigga looking at the spamslop being posted near all of them have fucked up hands zooming in that arent hidden. >but sure are these "incredible AI artists" you find on Twatter in a circle togetherBecause filtering that shit out is the only way to handle the spam so I could only assume your buttbuddies or the hype AIfags if you give me nondescript answers >INB4 its the Trip or Elfnigga group for how much you love saying luddite
>>7734730>god tier>prompter you can only pick one.
AIfags are more annoying than Twatter "artists." AI art also looks like crap.>Bro bro bro look at this generic anime girl wow the future is now please let me sell everything to feed these chatbots!
>>7734289Gets boring after the honeymoon period. Good at rendering. I treat it as a toy for personal use, but that too is wearing off.99.999% of the time I don't find prompts by other people interesting and they flood the Internet spaces. People deliberately posing as artists using AI prompts and obfuscating the fact is very annoying.
>>7734289you must hop on your goontasticâ„¢ vr helmet and apply the suction pipe to your member to fully engage with the breadth and depth of ai art. doesn't matter what it looks like as long as you're fondling your balls.
Most people just prompt, but that's not using the technology to its full potential. If you have the right set up you can literally shape the AI's output in realtime:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPxOE9YH57EI think it has a lot of potential, but people using it have to get serious and treat the work with the same kind of critique as anything else. Most won't, they're not artists, they're just messing around, but some will. If you're working with AI, you need to learn to really critically evaluate outputs and effectively inpaint them.
