I love Rockwell so fucking much. How much would it cost to commission him for a family portrait, or really any top artist?
>>
A painting of his just sold for 22 million
>>

Well, the top artists weren't just living well, they were quite wealthy from the commercial gigs, with Layendecker owning a mansion from his work.
Given that rockwell was on the same caliber in terms of success, it would be reasonable to assume that taking up their time to get a family portrait would run roughly the same cost as one of their illustration gigs, so likely tens of thousands of dollars?
>>
Post Norman Rockwells commission sheet. Does he draw nsfw? I got 20 bucks left on my Paypal account.

>>

It's two old people and the combined results of their creampies all about to rend and masticate a dead bird. How would YOU compose that?
>>
>>7735995
Did it have niggers in it? I don't think he did many, but I remember a couple
>>
>>7736518
They're called Africans, asswipe. And yes, it had heaps of em.
>>
>>7736521
My bad, I'm not hip with all the new language you kids use
>>
Rockwell literally traced photographs. Soulless.
If he was alive today he would be tracing over AI.
>>
>>7736538
So your reasoning is that you are trying to continue his legacy? Good on you
>>
>>7736538
he took the photos. its his composition and reference. Alphonse Mucha and entire art nuevo movement is similar tracing art. most artists trace. you are retarded if you believe otherwise. most just digital trace, 3d model, paint over, photobash now.

The Rockwell defence force has arrived.
Why do peole defend this lazy shitter? Is it Americans who can't admit that their golden boy was a fraud?
>>
>>7736552
Yes basically, same with Frazetta, they need to defend their nigger lover anti Nazi artists as being the only illustrators worth elevating to fine art.
>>
>taking photos and using them as reference is the same as tracing sloppa
kek saaaaaaaar

>>7736564
It's Yakubian lover, anon. Come on.

You may like Rockwell, that's fine. Just remember, he was a tracer.
>>
>>7737104
This pushes him down into high /int/ territory in my eyes.
>>
>>7737107
He was really good at rendering though.
/ic/ nerds love that shit
>>
>>7737112
People seem to like anything that looks like it took a lot of work. They're simple in that way.
>>
>>7735990
>How much would it cost to commission
Probably a lot. The going rate for necromancers has skyrocked since the goat's blood market collapsed.
>>
>>7737115
>people like art that takes effort instead of schizo scribbles or troonime

I don't even want to say pyw because I know it's shit
>>
>>7737104
>clearly not traced
sorry you don't know how to break down your reference or even use reference like an idiot
>>
>>7737019
Well it's like a type of irony when you usually mock something
>>
>>7737416
I don't make art, I consume it. People who make art are almost without exception unintelligent.
>>
>>7735990
>How much would it cost to commission him for a family portrait
However much it costs to ressurect a dead man.
>>
>>7737560
Holy fuck, he's been dead for 47 years. I thought he was a contemporary kek.
>>
>>7737492
>I don't make art, I CONSOOM it.
> People who make art are almost without exception unintelligent.
And what does that say about your intelligence?
