How to improve this? Any tips or suggestions for improving will be greatly welcomed and appreciated.Im obviously a beginner. This is pretty much my first attempt at drawing a pose. I used a pose as reference btw!.

As for crit, try studying Loomis for help on how to draw more fundamentally and 3 dimensionally, as this is a pretty flat drawing

Secondly, start doing some life studying to make your limbs, clothing folds, and hair look more accurate . Your arm shapes are decent but with some studying they can look a lot cleaner

Lastly, practice simplifying. Work with mannequins, breaking the body and limbs into simple shapes/forms, and drawing simple forms. I can tell you started jumping right into details which isn’t a good habit to have

I find setting the background to a desaturated blue/green helps to pick nicer skin tones
