This is realistically what the average late starting artists without talent will get in terms of draftmanship and skill if they haven't started in their teens or very early 20s.
Aren't you ashamed of yourself?

Is that supposed to be good or bad? I can't tell anymore

In Japan, you can hire a manga assistant to come to your home and mentor you for cheap. I've seen youtube videos of this

Mediocre, but potentially marketable. Elfin Lied was quite successful in it's time.
>>
>>7744914
Ok? But why does it matter? Can't we just be happy to be drawing?
>>
>>7745326
yeah as oppose to 100% anons on this board who are medicore, barely markable and unsuccessful.
>>
>>7745338
Mediocre is being quite charitable. The average d/ic/k including jannies are perma pre-begs.

Every day.

He doesn't like drawing manga.

Picrel started drawing at 29.

Waiting for the room temperature I.Q. retards to come in and discredit these artist's journeys for making birthday cards for grandma and enjoying it when they were 8 years old.

I can masturbate to it / 10

Dude I don't wanna be the next Raphaël. I just wanna be able to draw my cartoons competently enough.
28 beginner too. If I can draw like Elfen Lied's mangaka in a few years I'd be pretty damn happy.
>>
>>7744914
will that knowledge compel you to finally star drawing?
>>
All these "how fast can I get good" / "[x] shitty manga artist started at [y] years old" posters are never gonna make it. Not because it's impossible to improve in a relatively short amount of time but because they all seem to be waiting on someone to allow them to start trying. Real artists aren't artists because they want to be but because they have to be. You should be able to NOT draw. Just start already for fucks sake.

Shouldn't be able to NOT draw***

[Small typo my entire point is now invalid]
>>

there's truth to this but the images are all nitpicked to hell. that blonde boy is peak cuteness though

You uncultured SWINE
>>

seems like he doesn't like drawing in general and only uses it as a vehicle to tell a story, which isn't uncommon. between art, writing, and filmmaking they just choose the one they dislike the least

That's literally me, while my friend is the assistant in that pic, he's a true artist that would draw for 10+ hours every single day for years while I could barely draw for 2 hours, go weeks or months without drawing a single picture, and I'm only learning it so I can make comics, animation and games not because I like drawing in itself.
At this point I should just make more money and hire a cheap artist, I don't really care for the process of drawing, just the final result.
