Greetings /ic/,

This is not my main board, so please forgive me if I am doing it wrong. I am wondering what I should draw for my girlfriend and I needed some inspiration.
What she likes:
>drawing
>nature
>politics
>classical arts (up to mid-1800s, with some exceptions)
>ballet
What I am best at drawing:
>buildings
>machinery
>landscapes
>plants
>birds
>humans
Her birthday is on the 31st and probably will draw a few things for her between now and then.

>Tell me what I am doing wrong
>Doesn't bother to post work
Yeah, no wonder this board is dead since the posters in here are braindead themselves.
>>
Everyone and their grandma can draw. Do better.

Yeah this board is nothing but a ghost town full of sharty trolls. I applied to be a janitor and they ignored me. Figures. Admins don't give a fuck anymore
>>
>>7745263
Yeah, I am away from my shit at the moment and I have not done anything too serious in a while. I will draw something, since it is 4Chan, I will keep it fairly meme related (and by that, I mean Gondola will be in it), expect something in 1-2 hours from now.
>>7745276
Shartyniggers are tards... (Mind you, there is a good chance that, if you use Fahrenheit, then your thermostat is set to my IQ).
>>
>>7745279
I am now onto the shading, should only be about 15-20 minutes now. It is not as good as I would have liked, but I am not going to spend an eternity on this, so my apologies.

Just look up any or all of these + classical artists. Repin, Boogerough, Sargent, ect.
>>
>>7745323
This is a good point.

I have finished the drawing and scanned it, title and all. Not my best by any stretch of the imagination and I could do even better, if I took my time. Again, my apologies, as I know that this is not the caliber of work typically expected of the people on this board.

I just realized a grave error now... What happens when you rush and lack a straight edge.
>>
>>7745342
Oh, you're trolling. Ok, carry on then.

I don't see why the fuck not since I do indeed draw but enough about me.

How did you not figure that out from the OP?
>>
>>7745766
Again, I wish that I was, but I am serious and what I say is true. Is there any other proof that I can provide, as the idea of good faith obviously does not exist on this board?

If you and your girlfriend are young teenagers, this is still too lazy but ok.
But if you're an adult, this is extremely low effort and you're better off gifting her some flowers and a trip to the museum or coupons or something.
>Ballet
>Classical Arts
She probably likes Degas ballet paintings, huh.
Why didn't you draw something related to the things she likes? Some ballerinas surrounded by flowers. Flowers aren't that difficult to draw for begs, just look up basic instructions on how to draw simple flowers and they usually come out pretty great. And if you want to show at least a modicum of effort, COLOUR your drawings. Coloured pencils will do.
>I was just pretending, this is a troll
Indistinguishable from the real thing, but go ahead and fuck off then

I guess that I should have said that we lived in different countries.
>inb4 she is fucking someone else
Illegal in her country and the have draconian punishments.
>gifting her some flowers
I would, if the post office actually shipped goods to her country; they refuse to even send letters. Sending digital coupons or anything redeemable as currency is considered illegal as per her country's laws too (the government is super restrictive).

I am stuck with a file scanner and a 22 year old camera and an even lower resolution mobile phone camera, so it needs to fit in a paper scanner.

Flowers and ballerinas sound very lovely indeed and I was foolish not to think of that. I have acrylic paints I hail from /diy/ and /toy/'s scale modelling thread), but no paper (I can purchase some, there are two shops around the corner from me). I will need to check for colored pencils (I am an Amerilard, so forgive me for my past posts; we are a nation of retards), but they might be lacking in quality, if I still have mine. I also have some oil pastels, but they are very old, so their usability.
>begs
Do you mind telling me about his, I see it a lot on this board, but I cannot fathom its meaning. At the time, I was away from anything other than a 2B graphite pencil.

I thank you for your help and please excuse me for all the trouble that I have caused for the people on this board. I should have lurked moar.

Where tf is she from, North Korea? Maybe you can still buy her non-redeemable nor transferable subscriptions like Netflix or sth, but at that level of scrutiny, sending your artwork does seem like the safest option.
>I have no paper
Wow anon... wow...
>I will need to check for colored pencils
You don't need to check for coloured pencils if you already have acrylics and pastels, but for begs I just assume that using coloured pencils would be more familiar. If you have other colouring methods you prefer, use those of course. I'd assume they'd give the painting a more sophisticated look as well, if done well ofc.
>begs
It's just short for "beginners" as in, beginners at drawing. On that note, int is for intermediate artists, closer to pros. There is a thread for this >>7743078
Most of the lingo you come across is probably ic specific, like crabs (in a bucket), but if not, you can also look slang terms up on https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=begs but as in the example here, the definition you're looking for won't necessarily be the most upvoted one on top.
>I am an Amerilard, so forgive me
I forgive you
>Flowers and ballerinas
Good luck with your artwork, anon

>Where tf is she from, North Korea?
Iran, which is effectively as restrictive as North Korea when it comes to dealing with America. Netflix is banned, though a VPN can be used to access it.
>Wow anon... wow...
Heavy weight or acrylic paper, specifically. Even watercolor paper would work, but I only have printer paper and a few sketchbooks with printer quality paper.
Thank you for your clarification and your help. It means a great deal for me. I will begin some drawing practice tonight and will purchase the paper that I need this weekend, if the corner shop has nothing.

She actually is fucking someone else anon I'm sorry. Illegal in her country just makes it taboo, plus cheating, its like sexual thrill overload.
