you need to start having sex with men. it gives you an immunity to cute girls if you're gay. allowing you to draw them better

But then he would start drawing hot guys
>>
>>7747814
I was literally about to say that

Search nice reference, remember important details and draw from memory.

Study boobs from life

You can barely draw well from reference. How the fuck do you think will you be able to present your imagination if you still have shitty skill of transforming 3D objects into 2D representation?
Drawing for yourself is not an excuse, you literally shared your drawing here. That means at some twisted retarded neuron, you want your drawings to please other people that don't know your design concepts/design considerations.
>>
>>7747806
Is this a work you've drawn from imagination?
>>7747900
Don't listen to this retard. Drawing from reference and drawing from imagination are two skills that you should nurture separately and concurrently. If you neglect the latter you end up with Proko's kangaroo.

Imagination is not the same as knowing how to draw.

You're saying the OP should get AIDS to draw better, fuck you, troon.

>I'm trying to learn to draw bodies from imagination
>Any tips?
Yeah, don't
>>
>>7747806
drawing from observation -> drawing from memory -> drawing from imagination
That's the order.
Imo, the best way is to grind nude live drawing session. Find one near you. If not, get a mirror. Make a pose. Memorize it. Draw it. Rinse and repeat.

just draw a lot from references, no shortcuts. learning design concepts and basic anatomical theory is also helpful, but it's always 99% about the time adn effort you put in.

Can you give acouple examples of design concepts. Maybe resources for where you studied them from?

Curious. It might be what im lacking since I keep running in to brick walls when I get to color and rendering and backgorunds.
>>
>>7748296
Sorry to be blunt but it's not really gonna help you far unless you grind out your fundamental flaws: anatomy mostly, drawing fundies (bad line use), inability to imply form.

I'd look up artists like zapata for forms. His art is very boring but studying his technigue might give you ideas how to draw forms.

Pick your favourite artists and study/copy their stuff. What in their art communicates appeal? How do they approach anatomy and how do they break the rules without looking like shit?

But mostly just stop trying to study theory and keep drawing.

And for the design concepts, look up stuff like design hierarchy. It's universal stuff for art and graphic design alike.
>>
>>7747900
Post something.
>>

a good way to get through this process is to just keep working on your pieces as you would, but on every piece try to focus on a body part and work more on it's anatomy, on one you focus on the forearms, the other the chest and another the knees and calves, just grinding out the whole thing can knock the wind out of your sails without achieving much artistically, it's pretty fun analysing your progress like this.

The neck is outright lazy

This is why people don't post their work you nitwit. OP literally asked for tips, he's not happy with the final result. You could've just said he needs to practice drawing from reference, but for some reason you got offended by a beginner's drawing.
